Open wireless Internet access

panOULU (public access network OULU) network provides in its coverage area wireless broadband Internet access to everybody.

panOULU network is provided in cooperation by City of Oulu, University of Oulu, Oulu Polytechnic, Pulmonary Association Heli, VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, DNA Oy, Elisa Oyj, and Netplaza Oy.

  panOULU network has been incorporated to Technopolis plc. and Pulmonary association Heli facilities in Oulu. It is now possible for guests and customers to use Finland's largest open and free wireless network in these places.   There is problems in mesh network due failure in main switch. Problem should be fixed in 24 hours.
• 2007-11-19 - Maintenance break in panOULU network on Wednesday, November 21, 2007
  On Wednesday, November 21, 2007, starting from 14:00, the active components of the network are being serviced and updated, this may cause some service interruptions.
