2007-01-02 - Over 500 access points in the panOULU network

The 500th access point was installed to panOULU network on Friday, the 22nd December 2006. It is located at the university in room HU206. In addition the network usage statistics for the year 2006 are ready.
In the year 2006 panOULU was used by 15061 different users. Average use time during the year was about one and a half days per user, which is altogether almost 33 million minutes. Connections to the Internet were taken almost 1,2 million times. An average session lasted 28 minutes.
