Category: panOULU News
PanOULU, the open and free wireless network, can now be used in local buses and in the library bus through Digita @450 wireless broadband service. The bus companies V. Alamäki and Koskilinjat, City of Oulu, Digita Plc. and Buscom Plc. are piloting new Flash-OFDM technology, which allows panOULU to be used in moving vehicles, for three months. The decision to continue this project will be made later in the spring, after user experiences have been collected by the end of March. PanOULU access points have been installed in the buses on lines 19 and 50. Read the press release (in Finnish).
