2008-12-22 - 3000 eur grant for a M.Sc. thesis on web banner advertising

MediaTeam Oulu research group at the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering of the University of Oulu solicits applications for a 3000 eur M.Sc. thesis grant.

The thesis research focuses on the web banner advertising pilot conducted in a part of the panOULU network in 1.1.-30.6.2009. The thesis should study the impact of the web banner advertising on browsing experience and the validity of the business model used in the pilot. A general description of the pilot can be found here. The thesis research should be started as soon as possible.

The written application has to include a cover letter, CV, photocopies of earlier degree diplomas and up-to-date study transcript. The application has to be sent by 15.1.2009 to address:
