2009-01-13 - iPhone software causing problems in panOULU network

An Aplle iPhone software called PdaNet that works in so-called jailbroken iPhones is causing problems in panOULU network. When the program is running and the phone connects to panOULU network, the internal DHCP server in software starts to hand out bogus IP addresses to other panOULU users. Thus the users receiving a bogus address are unable to use the network.

Because of these reasons we strongly advise you to refrain from running the program while using panOULU network until the software is fixed.
